Having discovered yoga at a young age, I have spent years devoted to developing both my personal practice and my professional training. I have a particular passion for Shakti Dance, a practice that blends the structural wisdom of yoga with the freedom of intuitive movement.
My background spans a range of modalities, including yoga, psychological therapies, group facilitation, herbalism, and Ayurveda. I draw on all of these to create creative, nurturing sessions that inspire balance and self-expression. Outside of my regular studio classes, I have extensive experience hosting workshops, wellbeing events, and retreats across North Devon, as well as co-facilitating retreats internationally.
My initial Yoga Teacher Training took place in Rishikesh, India, where I also completed an intensive course in Ayurveda. I've since integrated Ayurvedic principles into my work through head massage, educational workshops, and even developing my own line of Ayurveda-inspired organic skincare.
Alongside teaching, I am currently completing my counselling training, building on my background in mental health. This helps me connect the mind, body, and emotions in my classes, weaving modern psychological awareness with the subtle wisdom of yoga and energy work.
Most recently, I completed an intensive Shakti Dance Teacher Training in Bali. In my classes, you can expect a seamless blend of flowing asanas, conscious breathwork, mantra, and intuitive movement. My goal is to offer a space where you can deeply relax, awaken your inner vitality, and leave feeling grounded and uplifted.
